These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Snoq website at https://snoq.io ("Website") and the Snoq desktop application ("Software") developed by Vladyslav Fedoniuk ("I", "me", or "my").

By accessing the Website or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, you may not use my services.

1. Service Description

Snoq is a secure notes application that provides:

Secure Storage

Encrypted note storage with AES-256 encryption

Rich Editing

Modern text editing powered by Quill.js

PDF Export

Export your notes as formatted PDF documents

Local-First Design

All note content is stored and encrypted locally on your device. No data is automatically synced to any cloud service.

2. Intellectual Property

All Snoq content, including software, graphics, and documentation, is my exclusive property unless otherwise noted.

Permitted Use

  • Install and use Snoq for personal note-taking
  • Reference Website content for informational purposes
  • Share links to the Snoq website

Restrictions

  • No redistribution or modification of the Software
  • No commercial use without permission
  • No reverse engineering or decompiling
  • No removal of copyright notices

3. User Responsibilities

When using Snoq, you agree:

To use the Software lawfully
To maintain backups of your notes

You must not:

Use Snoq for illegal activities
Attempt to bypass encryption

4. Important Disclaimers

No Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties. I disclaim all warranties including accuracy, reliability, and fitness for purpose.

Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your notes. I cannot recover lost notes if you forget your password.

Limitation of Liability

As Snoq is free software, my liability is limited to €1. I am not responsible for any data loss or security breaches.

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold me harmless from any claims arising from your use of Snoq or violations of these Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Rzeszow, Poland.

7. Changes to Terms

I may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
